Hi, I am Danilo Russo, an MCAST currently studying creative media production. In 2006 was born in Verona (IT) and moved in Malta back in 2014. My journey in media started back in form 3 when I studied Media Literacy.

I am someone who is highly passionate about the cinema and the media industry and have a great understanding of all the processes present in the three stages of production; and the principles of Cinematography, Sound design, Lighting and Digital post production.

Throughout the two years of my studies at the ICA, I've always took my assignments as a personal challenge, always trying to improve myself for one day to become a greatly renowned film director.

 

In my spare time I love practicing KUDO Daido Juku, a Japanese martial art. Through this sport, I had the chance to undertake a journey of self-improvement by meeting spectacular people like Hideki Watanabe, a part-time karate instructor.

His presence was truly inspirational to me, and I still live by his words and his insights of Budō.
